Microsyops elegans war ein Primat aus der Familie Microsyopidae (Unterfamilie Microsyopinae), der im Eozän in Nordamerika verbreitet war.
Das Typusexemplar trägt die Bezeichnung Y.P.M. No. 11794 und ist ein Fragment des linken Unterkieferastes (Ramus mandibulae) mit Prämolaren und Molaren (P4-M2). Der Fund stammt aus der Bridger Formation von Wyoming und ist zwischen 50,3 und 46,2 Millionen Jahre alt.
Microsyops elegans war ein baumlebender Allesfresser. Aus den Abmessungen seiner Backenzähne geht hervor, dass das kleine Säugetier 1,41 Kilogramm gewogen haben dürfte.
