Microsyops scottianus war ein Primat aus der Familie Microsyopidae (Unterfamilie Microsyopinae). Das kleine Säugetier war im Eozän in Nordamerika verbreitet.
Das Typusexemplar hat die Bezeichnung A.M.N.H. no. 4748. Dabei handelt es sich um einen fragmentarischen Unterkiefer mit Backenzähnen (P4-M2).
Microsyops scottianus war ein baumlebender Allesfresser. Aus den Abmessungen seiner Backenzähne kann man auf sein Körpergewicht schließen: 1,3 Kilogramm.
